Ideation and quality define a coffee table book!

It is not just a book but a sophisticated version of an owner’s vision of his own product through images and words produced in the best possible way. It is a coffeetable book printing. It can neither be termed as a corporate magazine or brochure that depicts the year-long highs and lows of the company along with its vision, missions and notes from the corporate honchos, nor is it a book that holds stories through the maximum use of images.

What is a coffee table book?
A coffee table is a large and over-sized hard covered book that is majorly kept for display on the tables with an intention of entertaining the users sitting and waiting near the table. As mentioned earlier, it is mainly a pictorial depiction of non-fictional stories about subject matters that can be generic or theme based.
Once the theme is decided, it is better to work with a professional photographer to get the right set of the photographs. They can range from being in classic tone to the modernised versions with color tones clearly defined. After the images are in place and the supporting text drafted, take the help of a graphic designer to give the book a perfect and fitting look. Discuss the cover page and the inside page layout designs properly so that the images and the text blend well.

Coffee table books are mainly hard cover books and the printing of the same should be done carefully. The quality of the pages usually range from 240 GSM or more, to give the layout a proper look. Thus, while selecting a printer, make sure to check about the company’s prior experiences in managing orders of high coffee table book printing . The basic idea is to produce a superior quality book that will attract the attention of readers even at a book store. Since these books are of premium quality, it may not be feasible to do a demo print run for this type of book. However, having some of the pages printed, might help.
